Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team at a leading freight forwarding company. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, acquiring new clients, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics and freight forwarding services, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and expand market share.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Create and execute tailored sales pitches and presentations to potential clients.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs by effectively prospecting and closing sales deals.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the accurate and efficient execution of services.
- Provide clients with comprehensive quotes and information about our services, including pricing, lead times, and delivery options.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and provide ongoing support.
- Regularly meet with clients to assess needs, gather feedback, and offer additional solutions.
- Resolve any issues or concerns clients may have regarding shipments, pricing, or service levels.
- Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Research and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities, potential competitors, and client needs.
- Monitor competitor offerings and provide insights for developing competitive pricing strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales progress, activities, and results to management.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
- Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure the smooth execution of freight solutions for clients.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team to help tailor campaigns and promotional materials.
- Negotiation & Contract Management:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring that both client needs and company goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during the negotiation and contracting process.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding services, international shipping, and supply chain solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Multilingual skills (English and Arabic Fluency)
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required):
- Familiarity with logistics and freight forwarding software
- Experience working with international clients and cross-border logistics.
