Job Description
Development of new Raw materials varieties.
Manages and directs the research and development programs to meet organizational needs and to capitalize on potential new products.
Develops and implements research and development procedures and techniques.
Oversees complex research projects, analyses result, and provides recommendations based on findings.
Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
Implement protocols, screen, and qualify new Raw materials to get more adapted varieties with high field yield potential to support the business on raw material cost reduction.
Training and coaching of human capital; spread culture of teamwork and collaboration, sharing good practices, technical, and business information to the Team.
Manage Research Program, conducting research trials, reporting all technical advances, new technologies, and products to generate solutions to potato production systems.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or advanced degree in agriculture, or a related field.
Proven experience in a leadership role within R&D, with a successful track record of agriculture.
Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in the development of agriculture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
In-depth knowledge of agriculture.
