Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion across two key solution areas:
- SaaS Solutions across the GCC region, with a primary focus on UAE and KSA.
- On-Prem Solutions within the UAE, specifically targeting the banking and healthcare sectors.
The role involves remote ownership of the full business development lifecycle — from planning and prospecting to proposal submission and deal closure — with structured performance reporting to ensure transparency and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities:
- SaaS Solutions (GCC – Mainly UAE and KSA):
- Develop and execute a business development strategy for SaaS offerings in the GCC region.
- Identify and engage potential clients in the enterprise and mid-market segments, with a focus on UAE and KSA.
- Manage end-to-end remote sales cycles, including discovery calls, virtual demos, proposal preparation, and negotiation.
- Coordinate with presales, legal, product, and finance teams to support complex deal structuring and approval processes.
- Maintain pipeline hygiene and documentation through the CRM system.
- On-Prem Solutions (UAE – Banks & Healthcare):
- Lead sales activities for on-premise software and hardware solutions tailored to banks and healthcare institutions in the UAE.
- Conduct virtual consultations to assess needs and present suitable on-prem solutions.
- Lead proposal development and RFP responses, pricing discussions, and internal alignment with delivery teams.
- Build trusted relationships with key account stakeholders to support long-term business growth.
General Duties:
• Quarterly Planning:
- Prepare and submit a structured quarterly business development plan, outlining:
- Priority target accounts
- Forecasted opportunities
- Sector-specific strategies
- Planned outreach and engagement actions
- • Weekly Reporting:
- Submit a brief weekly status update covering:
- Pipeline activity and movement
- New leads and follow-ups
- Committed prospects and key actions taken
- Identified blockers or support needed
- • Monthly Reporting:
- Submit a detailed monthly report including:
- Achieved revenue vs. committed target for the month
- Committed target for the upcoming month
- Status of all committed deals (won, lost, in progress)
- Summary of client interactions and submitted proposals
- High-priority opportunities for next month
- Commentary providing visibility and assurance to management on progress, strategy alignment, and sales direction
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM.
- Provide ongoing feedback on customer needs, competitor activity, and market dynamics.
- Coordinate with marketing and technical teams on campaigns, events, and client specific initiatives.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on:
- SaaS solutions in the GCC (especially UAE & KSA).
- On-premise solutions for banks and healthcare in the UAE.
- Proven success managing full remote sales cycles — from prospecting to closure.
- Strong understanding of SaaS models, enterprise sales, and digital transformation.
- Skilled in proposal development, RFPs, pricing, and cross-functional coordination.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Strong reporting and planning abilities (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working remotely.
- Willing to travel within GCC when needed.
