Overview:
MENA INTEL is seeking a highly capable and experienced Operations and Office Manager to support the Managing Director in running and scaling the business. This individual will serve as the second-in-command and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance of Operations department: Business Research, and Project Administration. The role requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record in operations management, team leadership, and internal process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations department, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, and timely task completion.
- Act as the primary point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the Managing Director.
- Work with team members and external agents to gather and analyze information related to tasks and projects.
- Ensure calls are prepared to meet task and project expectations, avoiding the need for multiple calls to the same source.
- Support the CEO to ensure alignment with company goals and operational standards. Monitor ongoing projects, delegate tasks where necessary, and ensure all deliverables are met within deadline and scope.
- Lead regular check-ins with teams to assess performance, address issues, and track progress. Review internal reports and project outputs to maintain high quality and accuracy.
- Participate in internal hiring processes, staff KPIs evaluations, and collaboration with the HR department on-it.
- Ensure the team adheres to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in workflows and suggest or implement improvements. Maintain and enforce internal procedures, protocols, and projects deadlines .
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in operations, administration, Office Manager, or team management, preferably within a consultancy, research, or professional services environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and priorities at once.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional English language skills—both written and spoken—are a must.
- Proficiency in coordinating remote teams and familiarity with internal platforms such as Trello, CRMs, or other workflow tools is preferred.
- Reliable, discreet, and capable of acting with sound judgment on behalf of senior management.
