Job Description
- Lead the planning team in developing short- and long-term operational and project plans.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure alignment with overall objectives and deadlines.
- Coordinate with departments such as production, procurement, engineering, and logistics to gather data and update schedules.
- Analyze risks and constraints affecting timelines or resource availability; propose mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on progress, variances, and performance indicators to senior management.
- Oversee resource planning, capacity utilization, and workload balancing.
- Maintain planning software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, ERP systems).
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations to planning staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, or operations management.
- 5+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Proficient in planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
