Job Description
Develop and implement the Preventive Maintenance Plan for the company’s fleet and ensure strict adherence.
• Supervise routine, emergency, and corrective maintenance for all vehicles (trucks, cars, and specialized equipment).
• Manage and lead the maintenance team (technicians, mechanics, electricians) by assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs, generating periodic reports on fleet condition and maintenance costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external workshops for spare parts procurement and specialized services.
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, oils, and tires to ensure availability and compliance with quality standards.
• Establish and enforce safety policies and procedures during maintenance activities.
• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget, analyze costs, and propose strategies to optimize expenses.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive engineering and maintenance technologies to improve fleet operations.
• Conduct technical inspections before and after repairs to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and meet company standards.
• Liaise with other departments to meet their transportation requirements and ensure vehicle availability on time.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of proven experience in fleet maintenance management or heavy vehicle workshop operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic).
• Experience in leading teams and scheduling preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in Maintenance Management Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with traffic regulations and workplace safety requirements.
