Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize and plan the repairs in the workshops.
- Ensure maximum utilization of the technical team to ensure they are utilized for maximum
results.
- Day-to-day planning, control, and execution of repairs in the workshop to ensure the set
target is achieved.
- Monitor spare parts allocated to carry out repairs on trucks and its utilization is in
compliance with the approved budget.
- Ensures that technical staff are retained on the job and discipline maintained
- Ensure safety precautions and good housekeeping are observed
- Any other responsibility assigned by the Fleet Manager / Maintenance Manager
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
- Proven experience in workshop management (Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a
similar role). - Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with workshop equipment and processes.
- Understanding of quality control and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency.
- Proven ability to analyze and solve operational challenges.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
