Job Description
- Maintenance Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and store facilities.
- Plan for long-term asset preservation and system upgrades.
- Create annual maintenance budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead and manage in-house maintenance teams across branches.
- Coordinate training and development for technicians.
- Monitor performance and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Operational Execution
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Oversee electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and civil works.
- Maintain a spare parts inventory and procurement process.
- 4. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Source, negotiate, and manage third-party service providers.
- Ensure timely completion of contracted maintenance and renovations.
- Safety, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and risk assessments across locations.
- Prepare regular maintenance performance reports and incident logs.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards (HACCP), ISO, and local regulations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics) or a related field
- 7+ years’ experience in maintenance roles, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- Prior experience in the retail, FMCG, or supermarket sector is a strong advantage
- Solid knowledge of facility systems and emergency repair protocols.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and general building systems.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel between branches as needed
