Job Description
- Lead and oversee all maintenance operations (Mechanical, Electrical, Utilities) for the plant to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.
- Supervise, mentor, and train maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support seamless manufacturing operations and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective procurement of spare parts and services.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards related to maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment history using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee external contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed to specification and within agreed timelines.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, or automation issues as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance management within the plastic or heavy machinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience leading maintenance teams in an industrial setting.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple maintenance projects.
