Job Description
- ● Oversee the daily maintenance and repair operations for the company’s fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- ● Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all vehicles and equipment.
- ● Manage and supervise a team of mechanics, technicians, and support staff, ensuring high productivity and adherence to safety standards.
- ● Coordinate with procurement to source quality parts, tools, and supplies while maintaining cost efficiency.
- ● Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, maintenance costs, and downtime to identify areas for improvement.
- ● Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies related to fleet operations.
- ● Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and inventory.
- ● Collaborate with logistics, operations, and dispatch teams to minimize vehicle downtime and maximize fleet availability.
- ● Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
- ● Prepare and present regular reports on fleet status, maintenance KPIs, and budget utilization to senior management.
Job Requirements
● Minimum of 5 years and up to 7 years of experience in fleet maintenance management or a related field.
● Proven experience managing maintenance operations for a large fleet in a logistics, transportation, or express delivery environment.
● Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, and motivate technical teams.
● Solid understanding of vehicle mechanics, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance best practices.
● Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
● Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
● Familiarity with safety regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
● Proficient in using fleet management software and maintenance tracking systems.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
● Ability to work onsite and adapt to a fast-paced, operational environment.
