Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities within the shop
- Oversee the work of maintenance staff and external contractors, ensuring quality standards and timely completion of tasks.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts, and coordinate procurement as needed.
- Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues to minimize disruption to shop operations
- Collaborate with shop management to plan and execute facility upgrades, renovations, or layout changes.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of proven experience in shop, retail, or facilities maintenance supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors, and management.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to retail environments.
- Ability to work on-site and respond to maintenance needs during operational hours.
- Experience managing maintenance budgets and procurement processes is a plus.
- Flexibility to handle emergency maintenance situations outside of regular hours if needed.
