Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and driven site engineer specifically for public address, Access control and CCTV (Passive & Active Network a +) to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background working with end-users, consultants on CCTV, Access control, Public address & video management systems.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of (CCTV, access control, public address equipment, parameter settings, network connectivity, and security)
- Collaborate with design and project teams to validate integration plans and interface points.
- Troubleshoot software and network-related issues during pre-commissioning.
Installation & Site Engineer Duties:
- Supervise on-site installation of low-current systems, including cabling, device mounting, and termination.
- Perform field testing, system validation, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and report site progress to project director.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Science or equivalent.
Mandatory:
- Strong knowledge of IP-based systems, networking protocols, and LAN/WAN configuration.
- Proficiency or good knowledge working with system integration (e.g., Bosch BVMS, Honeywell, Axis, Genetec etc.) is preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows Server environments, SQL databases is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities and able to work with end-users and consultants.
- Team player with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Certifications (a plus):
- CCNA or equivalent network certification.
- Bonus of 3–5 years of experience in brand specific ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, BMS, Public Address, Intercom, etc.).
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Bosch BVMS, Milestone, Honeywell Pro-Watch, etc.).
- PMP, ITIL, or related project/process certifications.
