Job Description
- Design, install, and maintain light current systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and public address systems.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and system specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and reports for project proposals and execution.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of low current systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Participate in the procurement process by evaluating and selecting appropriate equipment and materials.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in light current technologies and integrate innovative solutions where applicable.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in light current or low current systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and public address systems.
- Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of ELV systems.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
