Job Summary:
The HORECA Sector Manager will spearhead sales strategies and client relationships within the HORECA sector. This role demands a proactive leader with a deep understanding of the foodservice industry, particularly in frozen and semi-fried products. The ideal candidate will drive growth, manage key accounts, and align production with market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new clients (hotels, restaurants, caterers) to expand market share.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to meet revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies.
- Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Resolve client issues promptly, coordinating with logistics and production teams.
- Work with production to ensure product specifications (packaging, sizing) meet client needs.
- Partner with marketing to develop tailored campaigns and promotional materials.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, ISO) and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver monthly sales reports, forecasts, and actionable insights to senior management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in HORECA/frozen food sectors.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and CRM skills.
- Knowledge of cold chain logistics and food safety protocols.
- Willingness to travel 30-50%; valid driver’s license.
