Job Description
- Develop and implement comprehensive export strategies to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and expand into new international markets.
- Identify and evaluate potential export markets through in-depth research and analysis of trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Establish effective communication channels and negotiate long-term commercial agreements with international clients and distributors.
- Represent the company in international negotiations and finalize export contracts in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee the end-to-end export process, including order handling, documentation, customs clearance, shipping, and logistics coordination.
- Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, production, and finance departments to align export operations with company capabilities and strategic objectives.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s international marketing plan and promotional activities.
- Monitor export performance indicators, gather feedback from target markets, and identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency.
- Stay up to date with international trade laws, export compliance standards, and customs requirements to ensure full adherence and risk mitigation.
- Lead and mentor the export team, providing training, guidance, and performance development.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on export performance, market insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in export management, preferably in the industrial or steel manufacturing sector.
- Strong track record of opening new markets and securing international sales deals.
- In-depth knowledge of global export operations, logistics, and documentation processes.
- Excellent leadership and negotiation skills with the ability to work across diverse cultures.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a clear focus on results and profitability.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in an additional foreign language is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and export documentation software.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
