Job Description
- Operational Duties
- Business Development
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends in the logistics industry
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new clients
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into customers
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends
- Strategic Customer
- Identify potential strategic partners and evaluate partnership opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners to explore collaboration and business expansion
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing initiatives and leverage each other's strengths
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic partnerships, adjusting as necessary
- Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct market analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape
- Gather and analyze data on competitors' strategies, pricing, and offerings
- Provide insights and recommendations to management on market positioning, product/service enhancements, and competitive differentiation
- Internal Liaison and Support
- Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, customer service, and finance to ensure smooth execution of logistic projects
- Communicate customer needs and feedback to relevant internal departments
- Assist with the development and implementation of new logistics solutions or services
- Administrative and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of business development activities
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer satisfaction
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the BD team
- Manage data and information related to logistics services and customers
- Financial Duties
- Sales and Revenue Growth
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements
- Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
- Identify areas for improvement in the sales process and propose innovative solutions
- Customer Satisfaction Duties
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to identify opportunities for improvement and upselling
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful execution of logistics projects
Job Requirements

- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the logistics industry
