The Category Manager is responsible for the overall performance of a specific category of products. This includes developing and executing strategies to increase sales through selection, planning, pricing and market share. The Category Manager will work closely with account management, procurement , and merchants to ensure that the category is meeting its goals.



● Develop and execute category strategies that align with the company's overall business goals.

● Analyze market data and trends to identify opportunities for growth.

● Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions.

● Manage inventory levels to ensure that the category is well-stocked.

● Develop and execute marketing plans to promote the category to customers.

● Track sales, profitability, and market share to measure the performance of the category.

● Make recommendations for improvements to the category.

● Represent the category to other departments and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

● 3+ years of experience in retail or category management.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
