Job Description
1. Ensure that branch managers in their region achieve daily sales targets and take corrective action if they are not met.
2. Monitor adherence to operating instructions and procedures across all branches.
3. Ensure service is provided at all branches according to uniform standards.
4. Ensure the implementation and evaluation of training programs for the operating team, and inform branch managers of the training plan and necessary future actions.
5. Inform branch managers of competitor developments, changes, and market trends.
6. Conduct daily branch visits to resolve issues and continuously evaluate branches in terms of sales, adherence to instructions, and compliance.
7. Ensure that production orders are reasonable and in compliance with sales regulations.
8. Monitor the quality of delivery service and ensure it meets sales targets.
9. Prepare analytical sales reports for new products and present them to management.
10. Hold weekly meetings to share results with branch managers and update them on any developments.
11. Continuously follow up with the maintenance department to ensure prompt service and coverage of all branches.
12. Submit a monthly business plan to management, review monthly sales results, and compare them to targets.
13. Monitor daily branch inventory during visits and ensure actual inventory is consistent.
14. Develop a sales development plan for each branch and follow up on its implementation with the branch manager.
15. Intervene to resolve customer issues if the showroom manager fails to resolve them.
16. Maintain product availability in regional branches, arrange necessary transportation between branches, and request additional orders when needed.
17. Participate in developing the company's budget for its affiliated branches.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as area manager, store manager, assistant manager or similar managerial role with minimum 5 years as Area Manager
- +10 years of experience in Cafes and restaurants management.
- Experience in pastry Operations is a preferable.
- Has a proven hands-on exposure with brands not less with 10 + branches in Egypt.
- Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles
- Sound understanding of optimization of store operations and standards for success
- Working knowledge of ERP software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- BSc/BA in business administration, retail management or similar field
