Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are looking for a highly skilled and performance-driven Operations Manager with 7 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, project planning, and supply chain management. The ideal candidate should come from a Mechanical or Management Engineering background and have strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and optimize end-to-end operations.
  • The Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and improving manufacturing and supply chain processes to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. This role is central to aligning operations with company goals, ensuring on-time project delivery, and maintaining high standards of quality and cost control.
     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of operations including production planning, procurement, supply chain, and team performance.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to improve productivity, workflow, and resource utilization.
  • Lead and manage operational teams to meet production targets, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Implement and track detailed project schedules using Primavera or MS Project.
  • Supervise procurement and inventory control processes to ensure timely and cost-effective supply.
  • Coordinate between departments (engineering, production, procurement, warehouse) to streamline processes and resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Monitor operational budgets, reduce waste, and control costs without compromising quality.
  • Enforce compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports and present them to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Management/Industrial Engineering.
  • 7–10 years of experience in operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in team management and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera / MS Project.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, procurement, and production planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Based in Giza or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications (a plus, but not mandatory):

  • PMP certification
  • MBA or equivalent business management qualification
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
