Oversees daily operations, develops travel packages, manages staff, and ensures excellent customer service. This role involves sales, marketing, vendor negotiations, and financial management to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Business Management
Supervise daily agency operations, including bookings, reservations, and customer inquiries.
Ensure compliance with travel regulations (visas, insurance, airline/hotel policies).
2. Sales & Marketing
Develop and promote travel packages (tours, flights, hotels, cruises).
Implement marketing strategies (social media, email campaigns, partnerships).
Analyze market trends and adjust offerings to meet customer demand.
3. Customer Service & Relationship Management
Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure high satisfaction.
4. Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and supervise travel consultants and support staff.
Set performance goals and conduct evaluations.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
5. Technology & Systems
Oversee the use of booking systems (Amadeus).
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
15+ years in travel agency operations, sales, or management.
Proven track record in meeting sales targets.
Skills:
Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus)
Knowledge of travel trends, visa policies, and tourism markets.
Multilingual skills (advantageous).
