The Opportunity

As a Researcher, you will provide high-quality research services using artificial intelligence to the business to help our clients develop strategies to achieve their preferred future. You will research various trends and events to deliver provocative insights and questions, creatively building future scenarios and providing perspective beyond market borders.

You will require expert skills in market research and analysis to synthesize into trends and future scenarios. As a Researcher you will work independently with teams to build insights and create future hypothesis.
The role is based in KSA will be part of our Strategy and Transactions team.

Your Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and leverage goals to deliver provocative insights and hypotheses for problem statements that challenge current thinking
* Responsible for insights database administration
* Research various markets for events, across STEEP (social, technological, environmental, economic, political) factors, signalling disruptive shifts from the current paradigm
* Analyze and synthesize signals to identify disruptive trends
* Document and present to the business to help decision making
* Support EY thought leadership by maintaining an insights database
* Perform outreach to other research organizations in EY, collaborate with internal and external teams
* Assist in mapping results and insights for the team to move forward with, specifically understanding the needs of the business and supporting the executive sponsors

To qualify for the role, you must have

* A bachelor's degree in Business or Economic fields
* Fluent, business level English and Arabic language skills (both written and spoken)
* English language abilities should be evident through a standardized test
* Technical skills:  advanced knowledge of MS Office
* At least 2 years’ experience in market research coordination
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills
* High level of networking, team building and stakeholder management skills.  
* Good analytical and critical thinking skills
* Strong knowledge of technology and various platforms including social media platforms, web content management platforms, etc.
