Job Description
- 1. Operational Efficiency & Workflow Management
Overseeing daily operations to ensure all trading activities and processes run smoothly.
Managing workflows and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensuring alignment between different departments to achieve operational objectives. - 2. Compliance and Risk Management
Ensuring that the company adheres to all financial regulations and compliance standards.
Monitoring transactions for any unusual activity and managing risks associated with trading operations.
Collaborating with compliance teams to implement policies, internal controls, and risk management protocols. - 3. Trade Support and Settlement
Overseeing trade settlements and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinating with trading, accounting, and client service teams to resolve any trade discrepancies.
Managing relationships with counterparties, custodians, and clearing agents for smooth transaction processing. - 4. Client Service and Relationship Management
Ensuring a high level of service quality for clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
Coordinating with sales and client relationship teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
Regularly communicating with clients about operational updates and addressing any service concerns. - 5. Data and Reporting
Managing data accuracy and preparing operational reports for senior management.
Analyzing operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement areas.
Providing insights through reports and dashboards to support decision-making. - 6. Technology and System Optimization
Working with IT teams to implement and maintain trading platforms and other operational systems.
Monitoring system performance and overseeing any necessary upgrades or troubleshooting.
Ensuring data security and system integrity in line with regulatory requirements. - 7. Team Management and Development
Leading and training the operations team to build skills and maintain high productivity.
Setting performance standards, conducting evaluations, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Implementing continuous improvement strategies to ensure the team meets industry standards and company goals. - 8. Budget Management
Overseeing the operations department’s budget and optimizing resource allocation.
Managing expenses and finding ways to streamline operations without compromising quality
Job Requirements
- With 10 years of experience in the banking sector
- Willing to relocate to UAE
- Fluent in English is a must
