Job Description
Gems International School Cairo is looking for Events and After School Coordinator for immediate start.
Overview of the role
- This important role covers all aspects of marketing to promote the school and to support the internal events activities.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Smoothly continue the implementation of the Events/marketing plan, using relevant elements of the marketing mix
- Manage the website and social media channels with due regard for the school and events guidelines and strategic direction.
- Making sure all school events are well arranged and covered in order to be used
- Develop and produce promotional materials, including copy writing and liaising with other departments, agencies and suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with agencies, relevant publications, suppliers etc.
- Complete monthly marketing analytics.
- Assist with strategic decision making and reporting.
- Liaise effectively with the school management and head office marketing dept.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years’ of proven experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong eye for detail and basic graphic design skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, desirable experience in WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Sophisticated oral communication skills, as well as social media savvies.
- Creative problem solver with a can-do attitude
