Job Description

Overall Job Purpose:

To execute all HR-related operations across field project sites and the company’s head office, with a particular focus on sourcing and managing technical and agricultural blue-collar labor in the landscaping sector. The role ensures all HR procedures align with internal policies and both field and office requirements. It also involves preparing and analyzing workforce data using technical tools (Excel/HR system).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

First: Field Tasks at Project Sites

  1. Conduct on-site recruitment for technical and agricultural labor (welcoming, interviews, assessments, contracts, etc.).
  2. Coordinate the daily deployment of labor based on project requirements.
  3. Prepare and monitor daily attendance and departure logs.
  4. Record all field incidents (absences, penalties, injuries, behavioral violations).
  5. Review workers’ adherence to safety procedures and uniform policies, and document violations.
  6. Prepare daily or weekly field reports and submit them to relevant departments.
  7. Maintain and safeguard employee records at the site in coordination with the HR department.
  8. Support supervisors in issuing warnings and disciplinary notices.
  9. Follow up on labor accommodation arrangements and transportation when required.
  10. Provide suggestions to enhance field working conditions and conduct worker satisfaction checks.

Second: Office-Based Tasks (Post Site Visit)

  1. Enter and update employee data using Excel sheets or the company’s HR system.
  2. Utilize appropriate Excel formulas for data analysis (VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF, PivotTables).
  3. Prepare monthly reports (salaries, attendance, overtime, productivity, turnover rate).
  4. Archive paper and digital files according to company protocols.
  5. Assist in payroll preparation and verify worker entitlements.
  6. Coordinate with relevant departments regarding labor data and recorded notes.
  7. Schedule new candidate interviews and maintain the candidate database.
  8. Participate in performance appraisals and write constructive feedback.

Third: Technical and Reporting Tasks

  1. Accurately document daily labor-related incidents in the HR system or Excel templates.
  2. Design digital forms for attendance, leave, warnings, settlements, etc.
  3. Build dashboards and analytical reports for workforce data.
  4. Provide basic technical support to supervisors in using simple digital tools.
  5. Digitally archive all data and ensure proper backup is maintained.
  6. Contribute to administrative efficiency through digital transformation and reduction of paperwork.

Work Environment:

50% Field-based – 50% Office-based
Working hours as per the company’s internal policy, with flexibility for overtime based on site needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Human Resources Management is preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of proven experience in HR.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling technical/agricultural labor in construction or landscaping.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to operate effectively on project sites and under field pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with various workforce levels.
  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
