Marketing Communications Manager
In The Zone Sports is hiring a Marketing Communication Manager!
Responsibilities:
- The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for collaboratively creating and tactically executing the integrated marketing communications strategy for our sport brands. This includes both traditional and digital (Social media, website, videos..etc) to help ensure audience engagement and ROI.
- Create communication and marketing strategies for all our sport products/brands, launches, events, and promotions... etc.
- Develop marketing communications materials for launches, campaigns, events and other product and service marketing efforts.
- Lead all digital and social media initiatives while simultaneously focusing on brand awareness, sales and sponsorship assets.
- Develop and revise proposals and presentations, and enterprise ideas for company communications.
- Create and manage the MarCom budgets in close collaboration with the CEO.
- Developing pricing and budgeting strategies, as well as Overseeing market data analysis and evaluation
- Work directly with the brands team and Sales on marketing and PR strategies, promotions and sponsorship activations.
- Work collaboratively with sales and sponsorship teams to ensure revenue goals and seamless workflow between the departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams & partners to make sure all jobs are executed well and ensure timely project completion within a team environment.
- Report on marketing KPIs such as leads, conversion rates, website traffic and track email campaign metrics.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- A passion for and understanding of the sport and entertainment industries (active athletes are more than welcome)
- 2-5 years’ experience in marketing & content creation preferably within the sports industry
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
- knowledge of SEO/SEM and online marketing concepts.
- Fluency in English with copywriting and content creation ability
- Excellent communication skills in relation to colleagues, management, clients and the wider industry
- Meticulous attention to detail, organization skills with experience in managing projects & deadlines
- A fascination and a real interest in content marketing, media and technology
- Experience in event marketing and Knowledge of media productions is preferred.
- Athletic Background is a plus
- Experience working with digital content planning tools (e.g Opal), social publishing tools (e.g Sprinklr, Spredfast) and digital reporting/social listening tools (e.g Netbase, Crimson Hexagon) a plus
