Job Description
Brand Development & Strategy:
- Develop and define the overall vision, mission, and brand strategy for the new cosmetics brand.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive positioning.
- Develop a distinctive brand identity that ensures differentiation in the marketplace.
Product Development:
- Collaborate with R&D, product designers, and suppliers to conceptualize and develop a range of innovative cosmetic products.
- Ensure products align with the brand's vision, customer needs, and market trends.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to formulation, packaging, and final product testing.
Business Planning & Execution:
- Develop comprehensive business plans that include sales targets, market penetration strategies, and distribution channels.
- Set financial goals, create budgets, and monitor P&L to ensure the brand’s profitability and sustainability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance, to execute business plans effectively.
Marketing & Brand Launch:
- Plan and lead the marketing and promotional strategies for the brand's launch, including advertising, social media, influencer partnerships, and PR campaigns.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for both online and offline channels, ensuring a strong brand presence and consumer engagement.
- Coordinate product launches, events, and promotional activities to build brand awareness and drive sales.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for various aspects of brand management, including marketing, sales, and distribution.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, encouraging professional growth and development.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Ensure that all partnerships align with brand values, timelines, and quality standards.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of brand initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on brand progress, market performance, and financial outcomes.
Adjust strategies as needed based on market feedback, consumer behavior, and emerging trends.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Excellent command of the English Language.
- Excellent in Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint) and Power Bi is a plus.
- Experience with advanced ERP systems, e.g, SAP and planning tools.
- 5+ years of experience in brand management, product development, or business unit leadership within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
- Proven track record of creating and launching successful brands from scratch.
- Strong understanding of market research, product lifecycle management, and go-to-market strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation in beauty and cosmetics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
