The Business Development (Inside Sales Representative) position is responsible for identifying, sourcing, pitching and negotiating to close a strong pipeline of new customers, primarily selling through consultative phone-based and online meetings. This role supports the RPM Insurance, Legal, Finance, and Home Services divisions.
Although you will work out of our Cairo based-office located at The AUC Innovation Hub building, you will be calling on businesses and brands only in the US.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Source new sales opportunities through a combination of follow-up to inbound leads and outbound cold calling and emailing.
- Understand customer needs and requirements and vet opportunities to determine viability within the RPM ecosystem.
- Identify qualified opportunities to develop and close, so they may be supported by the customer success team.
- Achieve monthly sales quotas and targets on a consistent basis.
- Research new prospects, identify key decision-makers and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand a database of prospects that aligns with RPM business needs.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of current market conditions, including target audience and competition.
- Due to the US time difference, expect to work M-F 2 pm – 10 pm Cairo time (Friday you work remotely).
- Office is at AUC New Cairo Campus!
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople

Job Requirements
- Responsible for identifying, sourcing, pitching, and negotiating to close a strong pipeline of new customers, primarily through phone-based selling. This role supports the Legal, Insurance, Finance, and Home Services division of RPM.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Source new sales opportunities through a combination of follow-up to inbound leads and outbound cold calling and emailing.
- Understand customer needs and requirements and vet opportunities to determine viability within RPM’s ecosystem.
- Identify qualified opportunities to develop and close, so they may be supported by the customer success team.
- Achieve monthly sales quotas consistently.
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
The anticipated starting compensation range for individuals expressing interest in this position is USD 6,000 annually + uncapped performance-based commission. You will be paid $500 USD per month for your base salary. Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill levels.
