About The Role
The Risk Officer will play a crucial role in safeguarding our payment systems by monitoring transactions, communicating with banks regarding chargebacks and suspected fraudulent activities, and conducting comprehensive risk assessments and analyses. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of risk management, particularly in the payment processing industry, with a keen sense of identifying and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Monitoring: Continuously monitor and scrutinize transactions to detect and address potentially fraudulent activities promptly.
- Bank Communication: Act as the primary liaison with banks in chargeback cases and for investigating suspected transactions.
- Risk Assessment: Perform thorough risk assessments and analyses to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement robust risk management policies and procedures to minimize risk exposure.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on risk assessments, and findings, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is a must
