Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager

We are a Korean-invested multinational manufacturing group with a strong global presence. With a long-standing reputation in OEM/ODM manufacturing and household brand development, we continue to expand our footprint to new markets.
To support our new factory setup in Egypt, we are seeking a capable and experienced local Project Manager who will play a key role in establishing our financial and administrative foundation in Cairo.

Job Purpose

This role will manage both Accounting and HR/Admin functions during the critical setup phase of our new manufacturing facility. The primary focus (60%) is on Accounting, including tax and compliance; the secondary focus (40%) is on HR/Admin, including labor registration and liaising with local authorities. This is a hands-on role for professionals with strong knowledge of local regulations and experience working with foreign-invested companies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting (60%)

  • Set up Accounting systems and procedures compliant with Egyptian laws and Company’s global policies.
  • Manage full accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, bank transactions, monthly closings.
  • Prepare and submit tax reports (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT etc.) as needed , coordinate with tax authorities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting to Global Finance Team.
  • Monitor and report project-related costs and expenditures.
  • Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and financial institutions as needed.

2. HR & Administration (40%)

  • Handle labor registration and coordinate initial employee onboarding in compliance with local labor laws.
  • Assist in drafting contracts, setting up payroll process and other HR procedures.
  • Support workplace setup tasks: licensing, office logistics, government liaison, and vendor coordination.
  • Act as a local contact window for HR/Admin-related issues and communicate with Global HR Team.
  • Ensure all records, contracts, and HR/Admin documentation are filed and compliant.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Solid knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards, tax laws, and labor regulations.
  • Experience working for FDI or multinational companies; exposure to HR/Admin is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in English and accounting software (SAP); strong MS Office skills.
