Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycles for both business units.
Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
Support plant-level decision-making with cost-benefit analyses and financial modeling.
Prepare monthly financial dashboards and KPIs for executive review.
Cash & Working Capital Management:
Monitor and manage cash flow across both companies to ensure liquidity.
Optimize working capital by coordinating closely with procurement, inventory, and sales teams.
Supervise daily bank activities and reconciliations.
Accounting & Reporting:
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Maintain compliance with local accounting standards and internal policies.
Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions within the group.
Coordinate with external auditors and support statutory audits.
Tax & Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with tax regulations (VAT, corporate income tax, payroll tax, etc.).
Liaise with tax advisors and authorities when necessary.
Maintain proper documentation to support tax filings and audits.
Team Supervision & Development:
Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance officers.
Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and development plans.
Implement internal controls and ensure adherence across departments.
ERP and Process Optimization:
Ensure the full utilization of Microsoft Dynamics for financial reporting, inventory, and costing.
Identify opportunities to improve automation and reduce manual processing.
Collaborate with IT and operations to streamline financial processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s or CPA/CMA preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is essential.
- Strong command of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax law and regulatory requirements.
