Job Description
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement technical strategies that support the company's business goals.
- Create and update a standardized manufacturing operations manual that aligns with business strategies and promotes operational consistency.
- Plan, schedule, supervise, and evaluate production and maintenance activities within the plant to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze production, maintenance, and operational reports to identify and resolve issues affecting product quality or performance.
- Monitor production lines to maintain optimal working conditions for both production and maintenance teams.
- Adjust production schedules and priorities in response to equipment failures or operational challenges.
- Manage budget development, implement cost control measures, and prepare financial reports related to product specifications, quantities, and delivery.
- Optimize the allocation of resources across the plant to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts by encouraging managers to optimize procedures, enhance personnel utilization, and maximize line efficiency.
- Develop and implement plans for efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment to meet production goals.
- Resolve production and maintenance issues by working closely with technical and administrative staff.
- Enforce company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Set and monitor KPIs, ensuring the team understands and meets targets. Conduct performance evaluations based on job accountability.
- Plan and oversee equipment and facility upgrades, ensuring efficient and cost-effective modifications.
- Leverage ERP systems to develop reports that improve overall departmental performance.
Job Requirements
- Extensive expertise in Plant Management and Operations Management, with a focus on optimizing plant processes and improving operational efficiency.
- 15 years and above of experience in plant operations and manufacturing, preferably within the cement or chemical industries.
- Strong background in Production Planning and the ability to manage complex production schedules effectively.
- Proven experience in overseeing and managing plant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of making sound decisions and leading teams to achieve business objectives.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills, with the capability to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
