Job Description
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the annual marketing plan and long-term strategy for the entire confectionery portfolio to achieve business objectives.
Campaign Management: Lead the creation and execution of innovative, fully-integrated marketing campaigns across all channels, including digital, social media, TV, OOH, and in-store activations.
Budget & P&L Management: Take full ownership of the marketing budget for the confectionery division, ensuring optimal allocation of funds and tracking ROI to meet financial goals.
Market Intelligence: Conduct continuous analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Product Innovation & Launch: Collaborate with the R&D and Sales teams to spearhead new product development and manage successful go-to-market launch strategies.
Team Development: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of junior marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Performance Analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on campaign performance, brand health metrics, and market share to senior leadership.
Job Requirements
Experience: More than 10 Years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Industry Background: Must have experience in the FMCG/CPG sector. A background specifically in confectionery, snacks, or food products is essential.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strategic Acumen: Proven track record of developing and executing successful, data-driven marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience mentoring direct reports.
Financial Knowledge: Solid experience managing budgets and a deep understanding of P&L management.
Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
An MBA is highly desirable.
Experience with trade marketing and working closely with sales teams to drive retail execution.
Proficiency with market research tools and data analytics platforms.
