Job Summary:
-The Out-Bound Logistics officer is responsible for developing & managing all for supply chain out-bound processes related to local & export activities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- -Manage efficiently the interface and relationship with clients for exportation.
- -Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle for all local & export shipments.
- -Strategically plan, manage and follow up logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services to make sure that client’s deliveries will be delivered in the right time.
- -Check and approve key information related to out-bound deliveries to ensure proper inventory management.
- -Ensure quality control and safety of goods till its’ delivery to the clients.
- -Liaise and negotiate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs clearance agents & other service providers to get sufficient & successful management with 3rd party logistics services provider.
- -Ensure that all customers’ orders are picked and shipped within the applicable timelines.
- -Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- -Ensure zero or minimum demurrage charges/fines/claims.
- -Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments.
- -Resolve any arising problems or complaints from clients.
- -Meet cost, productivity, and accuracy and timeliness targets.
- -Responsible of all customer shipping queries within an acceptable timeframe.
- -Place & finalize all shipments on Nafeza (customs system in Egypt)
- -Maintain & analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements in order to meet deadline across the outbound operation.
- -Build and improve logistics procedures and set guidelines to improve the effectiveness of the entire logistics (timely delivery, cost reduction, quality control) and provide timely suggestions to the management.
- -Approve / Process relevant ERP transactions after proper verification, Vendor and supplier invoices related to logistics, and day-to-day deliveries and documentation.
- -Comply with legal regulations and ISO requirements.
- -Prepare & send customer satisfaction survey to clients to get their feedback.
- -Ensure the effective implementation of quality, safety and environmental requirements in the working area.
Job Requirements
- -Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain management, or related field.
- -Relevant professional certification is a plus.
- -3-6 years of experience in Exportation logistics.
- -Understanding of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
- -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- -Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements.
