Job Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for analysing sales volume and market trends to identify effective strategies for market penetration and customer engagement. Regularly visits existing accounts (T/As) to foster strong professional relationships, provide updates on new MSC services, and deliver tailored, innovative solutions to address customer concerns. Additionally, actively seeks and develops new business opportunities to drive growth and expand the client base.
Key Reponsibilities:
- Conduct regular market research to monitor competitor activity, including pricing strategies, cabin offerings, and merchandising techniques.
- Strategically plan and execute daily schedules to engage potential sales outlets, primarily targeting travel agencies, to establish new accounts.
- Build and nurture lasting relationships with travel agencies and clients through consistent and proactive follow-up.
- Assess customer requirements and craft tailored proposals to promote services that align with their specific needs.
- Deliver live presentations to travel agency staff to ensure they are consistently informed about MSC’s latest services and offerings.
- Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries using the most appropriate and effective communication methods.
Investigate customer complaints thoroughly and collaborate with management to formulate effective resolutions and implement improvements. - Maintain transparent and timely communication with the management team by submitting reports detailing daily activities, weekly plans, client feedback, and monthly objectives.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team success.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in business/marketing.
- Skills:
Excellent English skills – written and spoken.
