The Software Account Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales of software products and services. This role involves strategic account planning, customer engagement, solution selling, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and business growth.
Identify and target new sales opportunities within assigned territories or industry verticals.
Understand clients’ business needs and recommend appropriate software solutions (cloud, on-premises, subscriptions).
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and renewals.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solution fit and post-sales support.
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
Coordinate with marketing for campaigns and lead generation efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
1 to 2 years of experience in software sales or account management.
Strong knowledge of software licensing models, SaaS, and digital transformation trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and customer-focused.
Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
