Technical Office Manager

The ideal candidate of this position should have strong managerial skills with construction and engineering background, he or she should be able to manage several activities related to technical office supporting construction projects.

1. Project Planning & Coordination:

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure seamless workflow.
• Develop and track work schedules aligned with landscape construction timelines.
• Plan resources and materials needed project execution. Report on project progress to top management

2. Technical Drawings & Documentation:

• Review and manage technical drawings.
• Oversee preparation and submission of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed BOQs.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi codes, environmental standards, and project specifications.

3. Material Submittals & Procurement Support:

• Prepare and follow up on technical submittals for materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to source approved materials timely and within budget. Support procurement team in ensuring materials meet landscape architects’ and clients’ quality standards.

 4. Coordination with Consultants & Clients:

• Act as the technical point of contact for landscape architects, consultants, and project owners.
• Resolve discrepancies between design intent and site conditions.
• Attend virtual coordination meetings and site inspections, providing regular updates and technical input. 

5. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Ensure all site work aligns with approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Support the safety officer in applying environmental and health & safety standards on-site.

6. Team Management & Supervision:

• Manage a team of PMO & Tender engineers.
• Monitor workloads and performance to ensure deadlines and quality benchmarks are met.
• Provide training and technical guidance when needed.
• Team performance appraisal.
