Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accurately assessing project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Review bid specifications, architectural plans, and project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Utilize construction estimating software and tools effectively
- Analyze project risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Participate in bid presentations and negotiations
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Excellent command of English language, both spoken and written is a must
- Proven experience as a construction estimator (minimum 10 years)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, HCSS)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
