Job Summary:
To manage and organize all technical and administrative activities related to the technical office, including preparing and submitting technical designs and plans, monitoring the progress of engineering projects, and coordinating work between different technical teams to ensure projects are executed according to specifications and timelines.
Objective of This Role:
The objective of the Technical Office Manager is to oversee and manage all technical and administrative functions within the technical office, ensuring that engineering projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with technical specifications. This role involves preparing and reviewing technical documents, coordinating with engineering teams, managing resources and coordination procurement, and ensuring that all project-related tasks are completed on time and within budget. The Technical Office Manager is responsible for maintaining smooth communication between different departments, resolving technical issues, and ensuring high standards of quality and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical Office Management:
- Oversee the team within the technical office and delegate tasks among team members.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project deadlines across all technical activities.
Design and Plan Preparation:
- Prepare and submit technical drawings and documents required for projects.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the availability of all technical details for projects.
Coordination with Engineering Teams:
- Coordinate among various teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure smooth and consistent project execution.
Procurement and Resource Management:
- Monitor the procurement of materials and equipment needed for technical projects.
- Ensure that technical specifications from suppliers align with project requirements.
Review of Designs and Plans:
- Review engineering drawings and project documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical standards.
- Provide suggestions for improving designs and plans when necessary.
Performance Reporting:
- Prepare periodic reports on project progress and submit them to senior management.
- Analyze technical and administrative issues and work on resolving them.
Interaction with Clients and Contractors:
- Communicate with clients and contractors to ensure their technical requirements are met.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
Technical Documentation Management:
- Organize and update records and documents related to technical projects.
- Ensure that all documents are compliant with company standards and regulations.
Job Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (is a Must).
- At least 8 years of experience as a Technical Office Engineer is required with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in (AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office) is a must and Primavera is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management processes.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Schedule:
You will be working full-time on-site for 8 hours / 6 days. Every Saturday through Thursday, Attendance will be the following shifts (08:00 AM to 04:00 AM).
