Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Support the Director of Sales in developing and executing the overall sales strategy for the hotel.
Lead a segment (e.g., Corporate, Government, MICE) and manage a portfolio of key accounts.
Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients.
Participate in sales calls, client meetings, and hotel site inspections.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports and forecasts.
Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Managers and Executives.
Ensure sales activities align with hotel brand standards and corporate guidelines.
Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams to optimize sales performance.
Represent the hotel at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows locally and internationally.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and economic shifts within Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC region.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian labor laws and hospitality regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hotel sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Proven experience in the Saudi Arabian or GCC hotel market is preferred.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with sales systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce).
Knowledge of Vision 2030 and its impact on tourism and hospitality is an advantage.
