Job Brief
The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead and manage the sales and marketing team for the company’s in-house lubricants brand in global export markets.
This role is responsible for distributor development, sales strategy execution, and regional performance management, with a strong focus on volume growth across international regions.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and support the sales and marketing team to achieve growth objectives in export markets.
Assign and manage distributors for lubricants across target regions, ensuring optimal market coverage and performance.
Drive efforts to meet the annual sales volume target across all assigned regions.
Promote lubricant and grease products to maximize brand presence and sales in global markets.
Generate leads, convert prospects, and close sales deals for lubricants in international territories.
Manage key accounts and maintain strong customer and distributor relationships.
Oversee the regional office in West Africa, assigning team members to drive sales in that market.
Prepare and submit monthly performance reports, highlighting achievements, gaps, and action plans.
Collaborate with the technical department to improve product quality, innovate offerings, and support cost optimization.
Manage credit control, ensure timely debt collection, and maintain positive cash flow.
Represent the brand in trade shows, exhibitions, and technical seminars to boost product visibility.
Handle customer complaints by working with technical teams to identify root causes and implement preventive solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in lubricants sales operations and export business.
Proven success in managing sales teams and distributors, especially in the lubricants or a related industry.
Experience in developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans.
Strong understanding of the lubricants and grease manufacturing industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
