Job Description
● Acquisition of new accounts.
● Open new lanes for existing customers.
● Analyze customer needs to develop business and identify opportunities.
● Involved & follow up with CRM in resolving the disputes raised with customers (booking issues,
invoicing issues, pricing discussion)
● Negotiate & get special prices for some customers depending on sales volume in coordination
with the fleet department.
● Acquiring new customers & assigned to the CRM team.
● Make customer visits for existing & new customers on a weekly basis.
● Conduct calls for customers for following up & handling requests on a daily/weekly basis.
● Prepare financial proposals.
● Follow up with the CRM team on the booking status & order fulfillment.
● Follow up with the CRM team on the status of invoices with the finance team on a daily basis/ondemand.
● Follow up with the collection team on the customer’s collection status.
● Follow up with the fleet department regarding the availability of trucks if needed.
● Generate reports on the status of sales activities (pipeline, feedback,..) to commercial managers.
● Generate & update reports for (booking status, numbers, prices, cost,…) on a daily & monthly basis.
Job Requirements
+7 year experience in the field of (Logistics – Trucking – Shipping lines),+Proven working experience as a business development manager or a relevant role.
Advanced planning and result orientation skills.
Advanced leadership & team performance management skills.
Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills.
Professional manner, presentable, punctual and strong ethical code.
Professional in decision-making & problem.
