Job Description
Job Purpose:
To fulfil all operational suppling requests for sites needs within reasonable time from request date in a high quality and good prices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Get more than quotation for the operational requests from different suppliers.
- Negotiate prices with existing suppliers.
- Get credit terms for payments.
- Get new suppliers.
- Issuing and negotiate service contracts.
- Minimize the delivery time for purchases.
- Ensure the quality of all purchases.
- Arrange with suppliers to get needed documents which will be requested by finance department.
- Follow up payment requests with finance departments and suppliers.
- Coordinate with parts store team for all requests and arrange to issue the PO.
- Review all invoices and confirm it before deliver to accounting team.
Managerial responsibilities
- Managing the performance of the procurement team
- Monitor the annual procurement budget
- Follow-up on daily basis procurement operations.
- Coach & Mentor procurement team to grow and deliver best outcome
Accountability:
- Supplies to be in a high quality and good prices with credit terms
- Minimize procurement cycle time
- Provide multiple suppliers for each order
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in procurement operation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Additional certificates in supply chain management is a plus.
- Port Operations experience is a plus
- Computer literate
- ERP
- Microsoft office
- Very good English (Written & Spoken)
