Product Development Manager

Job duties include but are not limited to:Formulation of ingredient/process recipes and product-related proceduresBuilding relation with suppliers to explore new ingredients and technologies for new products and ingredient matching purposesPreparation and update technical specifications and product declarationsFollow up on matters relating to recipe, procedures, equipment, and quality on new products after commercial trialsConduct laboratory scale trials and supervise pilot plant trialsUpdating records of planning and status reports of activitiesTaking lead role in troubleshooting exercisesDeveloping new product concepts and prototypesConducting product testing and evaluationEnsuring that new products meet KDD`s quality standardsComplying with all relevant regulationsRequired QualificationEducation: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of Food / Dairy Technology.Work Experience: Minimum required experience of 7 years of experience in the field of food innovation/developmentRequired Professional Skills:Strong project management skills to oversee the development of new products from concept to launch Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCapability to evaluate product performance and testing resultsAbility to prepare and update technical specifications and product declarationsExperience in exploring new ingredients and technologiesAbility to develop new product concepts and prototypesCreativity in improving and re-engineering existing productsKeen attention to detail in every aspect of product developmentEnsuring accuracy and compliance in all documentation and processesAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, and productionUnderstanding of relevant regulations and standards in the food industry
