Job Description
The Marketplace Development Specialist is a key player in expanding and optimizing our B2B e-commerce marketplace. This remote role involves engaging with potential vendors, managing their onboarding, and organizing data to facilitate their integration into the marketplace. The ideal candidate will excel in vendor communication, data processing, and marketplace operations, ensuring a seamless vendor experience and effective marketplace setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Onboarding and Engagement:
- Initiate contact with potential vendors and key accounts, presenting the benefits of joining our marketplace and guiding them through the registration process.
- Provide support throughout the onboarding process, offering clear instructions and assistance to ensure smooth integration.
- Develop initial marketing communications and outreach strategies to attract new vendors to the platform.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure proper account setup and service activation, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
- Monitor the flow of B2B orders on the marketplace, ensuring operational efficiency and a seamless transaction experience.
Data Management:
- Organize and process vendor data to ensure it is properly formatted and marketplace-ready.
- Utilize Excel and other data management tools to structure and optimize data for accurate integration into the marketplace platform.
- Monitor data quality and address inconsistencies, ensuring that vendor information is complete and up to date.
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential, as this role involves managing multilingual content and communicating with diverse vendor accounts.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage potential vendors and convey marketplace value.
- Proficiency in Excel and data processing tools, with strong organizational and data management capabilities.
- Experience in customer service, client relations, or business development, preferably in a digital or e-commerce environment.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks in a remote work setting.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Data Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in e-commerce, data processing, or vendor management is highly beneficial.
