Job Description

1. Greeting and Welcoming Customers

  • Providing assistance to customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Understanding customer needs and directing them to appropriate products.
    2. Presenting and explaining products
  • Explaining specifications, sizes, materials, and prices.
  • Providing suggestions that suit the customer's taste and needs.
    3. Achieving Sales Goals
  • Working towards achieving monthly or daily sales targets.
  • Using persuasion skills to motivate customers to purchase.
    4. Arranging and Organizing Displays
  • Ensuring clothing is attractively arranged on shelves and stands.
  • Reorganizing displays according to management instructions or seasonal changes.
    5. Inventory Management
  • Monitoring available quantities and reporting shortages.
  • Assisting in receiving and arranging new shipments.
    6. Handling Payments
  • Executing sales using cash or electronic payment devices.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of cash transactions and issuing invoices.
    7. Problem Solving and Complaints
  • Handling customer complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Escalating complex complaints to management when necessary. 8. Maintain a clean and tidy workplace
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the fitting room, floors, and shelves.
  • Maintain a neat appearance and courteous manner.
    9. Participate in periodic inventory counts
  • Contribute to inventory counts to ensure consistency between the system and actual inventory.
    10. Stay up-to-date with products and offers

 

Job Requirements

  • Preference will be given to those with previous experience in retail or clothing.
  • At least two years of experience
  • Must be a resident of Alexandria
  • Specific recruitment status

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Tactful and presentable.
  • Ability to persuade and deal with a variety of customers.
  • Teamwork spirit and ability to work under pressure.
  • Discipline and punctuality.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with the basics of sales and customer service.
  • Good knowledge of fabric types and sizes (preferred).
  • Ability to use point-of-sale (POS) systems or a cashier.

  • Willingness to work shifts, holidays, or seasonal periods (such as holidays and sales)
