Job Description
- The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded understanding of HR practices and be able to support various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting the overall HR strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and grievances.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
Performance Management: - Support the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee performance and skills
- Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Update and maintain HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Assist in audits and compliance reporting.
HR Administration: - Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Process payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with the finance department.
- Prepare reports and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making.
Training and Development: - Identify training needs and facilitate employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate orientation and onboarding programs for new hires.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR or related roles.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR software (e.g., HRIS).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Preferred Skills:
- Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience with employee engagement and retention strategies.
