Job Description

Works to improve an organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. Drive the growth of their companies by generating new business opportunities as well as motivating employees. Since a key component of this job is strategic planning, a business development manager must have thorough knowledge of the company's competitors and the marketplace. He or she will work closely with the sales and marketing departments to identify potential new clients, craft proposals, and review contracts.

Duties:

  • Analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financial; evaluating options resolving internal priorities;
  • Finding out what an organization needs and working with a team to plan proposals and pricing.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients and proposes potential business deals;
  • Develops negotiating strategies by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • Coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives and participate in pricing the solution/service.

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Require a bachelor’s degree;
  • For over 10 years of experience with 3 years experience in banking sector.
  • An MBA is often requested as well;
  • Excellent in written business goals, has written strategic plan;
  • Has compelling SMART goals and is committed to them, knows what must be done and why
  • Developed action plan and follow the action plan and continuously monitors performance in sales closures;
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in prospecting and developing new business;
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines; detail oriented.
