Job Description
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all Somabay employees, including full-time, part-time, and contract staff.
Verify and reconcile monthly payroll data including time and attendance, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and leaves.
Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, taxes, social insurance, and other withholdings in compliance with Egyptian labor law.
Prepare and distribute pay slips and maintain confidential employee payroll records.
Submit monthly payroll reports and statutory filings to relevant government authorities.
Coordinate with HR and Finance departments on new hires, terminations, salary changes, and employee benefits.
Address employee payroll queries and provide clear explanations on earnings, deductions, and policies.
Maintain and update payroll systems, databases, and employee records.
Participate in audits and implement internal payroll controls and best practices.
Stay updated on changes in labor laws, taxation, and social insurance regulations in Egypt.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in payroll, ideally within the hospitality or service industry.
In-depth knowledge of Egyptian payroll laws, tax regulations, and social insurance procedures.
High level of proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and time management.
Effective communication skills in Arabic and English.
