Conferences Sales Manager (Foreigner)

• To respond quickly and efficiently to all in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone, fax and email, preparing brochures as required
• To follow up all enquiries, preparing proposals where necessary and facilitating showrounds with potential clients to show them our facilities
• Contracting bookings and raising invoices

You could come to conference and exhibition sales from a range of backgrounds. Often you don't need particular qualifications, but employers will look for relevant sales experience or strong transferable skills.

In this multifaceted role (involving sales strategy, financial planning and forecasting, marketing and communications and operational delivery) the successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills and display a high level of organisational and project management ability.
