Job Description:
1. Talent Sourcing:
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract blue-collar talent in the F&B sector.
- Utilize job boards, social media, networking events, and local community resources to find qualified candidates.
2. Screening and Interviewing:
- Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Administer skill assessments and reference checks as needed.
3. Job Postings and Advertising:
- Create and manage job postings on various platforms to attract potential candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the specific needs and requirements for each position.
4. Candidate Management:
- Maintain and manage a database of candidates and keep track of their progress through the hiring process.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers on candidate status and pipeline.
5. Onboarding Support:
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
- Coordinate training sessions and orientation for new employees.
6. Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices in the F&B sector.
- Use insights to refine recruitment strategies and attract top talent.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the HR team and department heads to understand hiring needs and forecast future workforce requirements.
- Foster relationships with local trade schools, vocational programs, and community organizations to build a talent pipeline.
8. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare and present reports on recruitment metrics and outcomes to management.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in recruiting, ideally within the Food & Beverage or related industries.
- Strong understanding of blue-collar roles and labor market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
